11 months.

wells is 11 months old! this boy is silly...and happy. love it. his favorite things to do are to explore and get into mischief. no surprise there. he loves to push any furniture he can around the house. he says "da-dee" and a whole lot of gibberish. he waves hi and bye on command (most of the time). his top teeth broke through. almost anything will make him laugh but his brothers and daddy can make him laugh the hardest. his favorite toys are not toys (again no surprise). he now has pretty (excuse me, handsome) aqua walls in his room. he really needs a haircut. he likes strawberries the best. i think we found a cup he can actually drink out of..and he loves it. he has been letting go and standing on his own for longer...but is still hesitant to take steps. he likes to point at things. and give strangle hugs. and big open mouth kisses.

living room.

just a few snippets from the living room. it is still a work in progress...but sooooo much better than it was! the photo wall was inspired by this one on under the sycamore (p.s. hot glue didn't work for me so i switched to museum putty). the chevron fabric hiding the bookcase is from here (i got coral). instructions for the crocheted bunting are here on prudent baby. the artwork above the piano is by my dad. various photos and art above the couch. sorry for the glare in the photos! i figured slightly glare-y photos were better than none since it has taken me so long to even take pictures at all! i am still working on pillows for the daybed but there are a few done. the top part of the entertainment center looks alright...holding all our colorful books. the bottom is still a bit of a mess...working on bins to hold the toys. i hope to finish all that soon...oh and a cover for the fireplace also. then i will take some more shots...and more pulled back so you can see the whole room!

valentine's baking.

spaceboys.

i made spaceboys for the tate and beck for christmas. they were to replace the original spaceboy...who unfortunately suffered a fatal accident. and i made a spacebaby for wells too. though spacebaby has some weird proportions...i think the pattern i used has a mistake in the seam allowance. anyway the boys like them. tate named his (the blue and green one) nicholas. and beck named his (red and blue) ted. he has been naming everything ted lately. i believe he currently had a pet peregrine falcon named ted. and a brother named teddy. (both imaginary of course). the baby we just call baby.

10 months-ish.

the little man is ten months old! and likes to rock a bow tie. not many new tricks since the very belated nine month update. i keep expecting him to let go when cruising and try to take a step...but not yet. he kinda needs a haircut...but i'm not sure i'm ready to do it. or that he will stay still enough for it. oh...brian and i both think he says baby! in fact just a minute ago the screen saver popped up (which is pictures from iphoto) and he saw it and said baby! that is the most definite time i've heard it from him...so i am going with first word: baby. way to go wellsy.
